Pair of Top-5 finishes with CCSDS over Labor Day weekend

With Mother Nature wiping out the first two events of the action-packed Labor Day weekend, Morgan Bagley followed the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Miss.) on Saturday evening for the Labor Day Classic. Following a fifth place finish in his heat, Bagley came in fourth in his B-Main, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the opening night feature. Wheeling his way into the Top-5, Morgan passed 14 cars in the 40-lap affair to place fifth behind Logan Martin, Timothy Culp, Brian Rickman, and Neil Baggett.

The following night at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for another $3,000-to-win A-Main, Morgan laid down the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group before placing second in his heat behind Logan Martin. Starting the feature in fifth, Bagley jumped up two spots in the 40-lapper to register a third place finish behind Logan Martin and Spencer Hughes with Timothy Culp and Chad Thrash completing the Top-5 finishers.
