Bagley races into Clash at the Mag at Magnolia

Morgan Bagley traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Thursday afternoon to enter his P&W Sales No. 14M Late Model into battle for the 13th annual Optima Batteries Clash at the Mag. With 44 Late Models on hand for the event sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Bagley edged his way into the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat. With severe weather set to hit the area on Saturday afternoon, officials scratched Friday’s final preliminary feature and shifted the $12,000-to-win Clash at the Mag to Friday evening. Following a fifth-place finish in his heat, Bagley scored a second-place finish in his B-Main, which positioned him 20th on the starting grid for the finale. Improving three spots in the 50-lap affair, Morgan recorded a 15th-place finish.
