Morgan Bagley charges to 9th in CCSDS Cow Patty 30
The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) returned to action on Friday night at Old No. 1 Speedway, where Morgan Bagley turned in a top-10 finish.
With a $5,000 winner’s share up for grabs, 36 CCSDS competitors descended on the quarter-mile oval in Harrisburg, Arkansas, for the Cow Patty 30 program.
Bagley began the evening by qualifying his Precision Trailers No. 14M Super Late Model eighth in his group. He narrowly missed a transfer into the main event via his heat race, then took sixth in his B-Main.
His tough start to the night meant he rolled off 21st to begin the 30-lap feature. He quickly advanced through the field and finished ninth, earning the event’s MD3 Five Star Bodies Hard Charger award.
On Saturday, the scheduled $5,000-to-win COMP Cams Super Dirt Series show at West Memphis, Arkansas’ Riverside International Speedway fell victim to Mother Nature.
Bagley continues to occupy the third position in the CCSDS standings.
