Top-10 finish for Mo Bags during CCSDS Clash at the Mag weekend
Team 14 and driver Morgan Bagley were part of a stout field at Columbus, Mississippi’s Magnolia Motor Speedway on the second weekend in August for the prestigious Clash at the Mag. Bagley secured two solid results with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) in the event which had been postponed from June.
Fifty-four CCSDS Super Late Models were at the 3/8-mile track on Friday for the first day of competition. Bagley missed a transfer spot in his heat race and was ninth in his Last Chance Qualifier, forcing him to start from the 23rd spot in the $5,000-to-win feature. He charged ahead 13 spots in his Precision Trailers No. 14M Super Late Model to finish 10th in the 30-lap A-Main.
Saturday brought 50 CCSDS competitors to Magnolia for the weekend finale paying $12,000 to the victor. Bagley grabbed the runner-up spot in his heat and went on to start 10th and finish 11th in the 50-lap main event.
After the Clash at the Mag, Bagley remains second in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series point standings.
