Pair of top-10 results for Bagley at TMS Dirt Track
After nearly a month idle, Morgan Bagley hopped back behind the wheel of his P&W Sales No.14M Super Late Model over the weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) Dirt Track. Competing in the season finale for the REVIVAL Super Dirt Series, he scored two top-10 finishes at the 4/10-mile clay oval near Fort Worth.
On Friday, Bagley was one of 52 Super Late Model competitors on hand to kick off POWRi Championship Weekend. He grabbed third in his heat race, then charged from his 18th-place starting position to finish seventh in the 25-lap, $2,500-to-win feature.
Saturday’s program brought 46 Super Late Models to the TMS Dirt Track, where a $4,500 first-place prize was up for grabs. Bagley qualified strong with a second-place effort in his group, putting him in the top-six dash. He started fourth and finished third in the dash race, and rolled off second to begin the 25-lap A-Main. He held the runner-up spot for much of the contest, but Terry Phillips slipped by on the last lap. Bagley ultimately rounded out the podium behind Cade Dillard and Phillips, with Tyler Wolff and Tyler Kuykendall taking fourth and fifth, respectively.
