Bagley earns 8th-place result in CCSDS opener at Boothill
Coming off a season in which he finished as runner-up in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) point standings, Morgan Bagley lifted the lid on his 2025 campaign by competing in the series’ season-opening Ronny Adams Memorial at Boothill Speedway on Friday. With 32 CCSDS cars on the property, he posted a solid top-10 finish in the sixth annual event at the quarter-mile track in Greenwood, Louisiana.
To start the evening, Bagley drove his P&W Sales No. 14M Super Late Model to the sixth-quickest time in his qualifying group and finished fourth in his heat race. He began the 40-lap, $10,000-to-win main event from 14th and marched forward six spots to finish eighth. For much of the race's second half, he was engaged in a spirited back-and-forth battle with seventh-place finisher Billy Moyer Sr.
The Ronny Adams Memorial was originally slated as a two-day show, however, wet weather condensed the program to a single evening with the $10,000 top prize awarded on Friday.
