Morgan Bagley Claims Comp Cams Victory at Poplar Bluff

Win Marks 10th Career Tour Triumph

LONGVIEW, Tex. (April 13, 2026) — A late-race opening proved to be all Morgan Bagley needed Friday night at Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park.

The Longview native led the final eight laps of the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) opener to capture the $10,000 Battle at the Bluff victory—his first win of the season and the 10th tour triumph of his career.

“We’ll take it,” Bagley said. “I hate it for Chandler, but it’s always nice to get a win. I felt like we were pretty consistent all night, and that put us in position to take advantage if something happened. Big thanks to my car owner Wayman & Kay McMillan, for the opportunity to drive this thing, and to all of our sponsors for helping us get up and down the road. It takes a lot, and we couldn’t do it without their support.”

Bagley’s two-race weekend began Friday at Missouri’s Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park, where he advanced into the feature with a heat race victory. He took the lead on lap 23 when the frontrunner Chandler Petty slipped over the cushion in turn two, allowing Bagley to assume control and drive away with the 30-lap victory. He crossed the line 1.523 seconds ahead of Kyle Beard, with Timothy Culp rounding out the podium.

A visit to Old No. 1 Speedway in Arkansas on Saturday resulted in a 13th-place finish for Bagley. After finishing third in his heat race, he never quite found his rhythm in the feature and ultimately finished just outside the top 10.

Following the weekend, Bagley sits fourth in the latest CCSDS point standings.

Bagley now looks to defend his home turf this weekend as the Revival Dirt Super Late Model Series rolls into Kennedale Speedway Park for the two-night Big Dog in the Park Classic.
